HOW DO I PREP MY FILES FOR MIXING?
If you’re a home recorder and have never had your record professionally mixed before, we can guide you through the process. Check out our detailed tutorial just for you: “How to prepare your record for online mixing” (TL;DR – Be organized!). If you’re a seasoned producer/engineer and you know what to do, get in touch to get started! We can accept Logic Pro X, Logic Pro 9, GarageBand and ProTools sessions. (Don’t forget to comp audio, crossfade & flatten your tracks!)
WILL I BE ABLE TO MAKE CHANGES TO THE MIXES?
Of course! After the first round of mixes, you can send back notes for revisions as detailed as you like. We are pretty good at getting to the heart of your goals and translating what you are going for sonically.
WHAT FILES WILL I RECEIVE DURING MIXING AND AFTER MIXING?
During the mixing process, we’ll send you high-bitrate MP3s after each set of revisions. After the final mixes are approved, we’ll send you AIFF/WAV files at 44.1kHz / 24bit or higher, depending on how high your recorded sample rate was. Let us know in advance if you have a preference.
